Enjoy your meal at camp while bidding on your favourite pies or pick it up and enjoy it at home and know that your support helps us have an impact on the lives of hundreds of campers each summer.


Chicken BBQ Details - Our delicious chicken dinner that thousands of people have come to know and love includes 1 or 2 pieces of BBQ chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, veggies, pickles, a fresh roll, chips and an apple or fresh baked apple fritter.


Pie Auction Details - Part way through the evening we will auction off approximately 60 pies ranging from your classic fruit pies to more unique creations from local bakers, bakeries and restaurants.

The Chicken BBQ is a long-standing tradition at Hidden Acres. For over 55 years, crowds have joined us for an evening of great food & conversation to raise funds for Hidden Acres' summer camp ministry. Many volunteers come together to do everything from peeling carrots and cooking the sauce to washing picnic tables and preparing the fire pit. By the time the crowds arrive, a delicious meal has been prepared and is ready to enjoy.  In 2006, a pie auction was added, showcasing pies donated by local churches.  This has become a favourite part of the night as generous people head home with delicious pies to enjoy. Over the years, a variety of groups provided music after dinner but the committee realized that the entertainment patrons relished the most was fellowshipping around tables with friends, neighbours and HAC staff.
